Express Proofreading is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, due to our extensive network of proofreaders we are always able to assign your document to one of our proofreaders and have your document returned to you within your selected timeframe.

We are unable to edit LaTeX files directly. We therefore ask that you export or copy and paste your LaTeX text into a MS Word document or similar. You can rest assured that the editor will leave any programming commands intact. Using this method we can edit in MS Word using Track changes and you can then simply copy and paste the text back into the LaTeX file format.

Yes, you can book our proofreading service in advance, this would guarantee a specific turnaround time for you during the busy summer months. To do so simply email us with the subject of the thesis or dissertation, the approximate date that you would like to send your document to us, and when you would like it back. As well as the estimated final word count. We will then issue a PayPal invoice which will allow you to make a partial payment for 25% of the total to reserve this slot. If you do not know the exact word count at this stage that is not a problem, as we can amend the invoice and the final total when you send the document to us.

If there is a technical error, or an error with the word count once you have uploaded your document, or an issue with the final total presented, then please email your document to us instead. We can then process your document manually by verifying the word count and issuing you with a PayPal invoice for the payment. Simply include in your email, the subject matter, the service that you require and the turnaround time that you wish to select.

At Express Proofreading we charge on average 20% less than other professional proofreading services. We are able to do this by keeping our operating costs to a bare minimum. We spend very little on advertising and instead rely on word of mouth for new business. By providing a high quality proofreading service we do not need to spend heavily on advertising, as most of our clients refer their friends and colleagues to us.

We do not claim to be the cheapest proofreading service online. However, we do believe that we offer the best value and service. There are many lower priced proofreading and editing services online, however, this usually means lower quality, in terms of the editor’s qualifications/experience and also the time allocated to reviewing your writing.

We have editors from a wide range of academic fields and all of our editors have the highest levels of expertise. As a minimum we ensure that all of our editors hold Masters/PhD qualifications from leading British universities, and have extensive experience in the field of proofreading.

We will match your work to an editor with the relevant background and experience in your field. The editing manager will evaluate your submitted document and assign it to an editor best matched to your individual needs.
